Madison Square Garden's 'Marilyn Monroe', 1962

'Happy Birthday... Mr. President...'

Marilyn Monroe was invited for the birthdaygala for John F. Kennedy. She was drunk when she arrived, but was strong enough to sing two songs on his birthday. Marilyn's dress was sensational, it was fleshcolored, with pearls, Marilyn called it 'Skin and beads', because it looked that Marilyn was naked, and covered with pearls.

Lyrics of the two songs sung by Marilyn:

Happy Birtday Mr. President:

Happy... Birthday to you, happy birthday to you (Laughs). Happy Bithday mister... President, (Looks very sad) Happy Birthday to... You! (Smiles).

Thanks fot the memory:

Thanks mister President... For all the things you'v done, the battles that you've won, the way you deal with US steal and our problems by the ton. We thank you, so much! (Marilyn shouts: 'Everybody Happy birthday' and the public begins to sing, Marilyn does a dance, and when the cake comes up, she leaves the stage).

Marilyn sings 'Happy Birthday' on may 20 (Yeah it was midnight) 1962.
