Marilyn Monroe in Edgar Bergen Show and in Jack Benny Show
Marilyn in Edgar Bergen Show, 1952.
Marilyn was a guest in the show of Edgar Bergen and his wooden dummy Charlie McCarthy, in 1952. They had a sort of sketch, in which the wooden dummy would ask Marilyn to marry him. Marilyn wanted to marry him, but the fans protested! Even Winston Chruchill said: 'Never has anyone so little taken so much from so many'. Ofcourse, this all was a joke.
